POLISH KIELBASA AND CABBAGE SOUP

Hearty and comforting, this Polish Kielbasa and Cabbage Soup is a must! Loaded with savoury flavours, this soup couldn’t get easier to make. This delicious and satisfying soup guaranteed to warm your cold nights!

Perfect for this season, this simmering, hot pot of goodness sure to keep your senses awake. A feel-good dish with smoked kielbasa, hearty potatoes, and extra savoury and garlicky seasonings. Maximum comfort in every sip and gulp! A bowl is not enough, you’ll ask for another! Stir up a pot for yourself, ladle a big scoop, and enjoy a cold night with a long sip of this filling soup.

Ingredients

1 lb Polish kielbasa, sliced in 1/4 in rounds

2 c onions, sliced thinly

4 c green cabbage, shredded

1 tbsp fresh garlic, minced

6 c vegetable stock

2 c potatoes, peeled and diced

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

HOW TO MAKE POLISH KIELBASA AND CABBAGE SOUP

Step 1: Heat a large soup pot over medium heat. Saute the Kielbasa for about 5 minutes.

Step 2: Once done, transfer the Kielbasa in a clean bowl.

Step 3: In the soup pot, add the onion and cabbage. Cook for about 10 minutes or until the onion is translucent.

Step 4: Add and cook the garlic for 2 minutes more or until fragrant.

Step 5: Pour in the vegetable stock and add in the potatoes. Stir well to combine.

Step 6: To taste, season with salt and pepper.

Step 7: Adjust the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil.

Step 8: Lower the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes or until cooked through.

Step 9: Once done, ladle the soup into serving bowls and serve. Enjoy!
