How to make Pecan Pie – Sarah’s Favorite
Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 325 degrees.
Step 2: Prepare a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
Step 3: In a medium saucepan. Mix the butter, sugar, and corn syrup and heat over low heat. Stir constantly until the sugar has dissolved. Take the pan out of the heat and let the mixture cool for some time.
Step 4: In a small mixing bowl, add the eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix until combined before adding this into the syrup. Combine until incorporated.
Step 5: At the bottom of the prepared pie shell, layer the pecans and pour the syrup over. Don’t worry the pecans will float or if desired, you can add them in a decorative manner after the syrup.
Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 to 55 minutes.
Step 7: Serve this warm or cold with a dollop of fresh whipped cream. Enjoy!
