INGREDIENTS
16 oz. hot dogs (8 counts)
8 hot dog buns (8 counts)
1/4 c. mayonnaise
2 tablespoons yellow mustard or stone-ground
15 oz. No Bean Chili or leftover chilli
2 c. cheddar cheese shredded
1/2 medium red onion diced
HOW TO MAKE OVEN CHILI CHEESE DOGS
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees. And using foil, line a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Step 2: In a saucepan on the stove or microwave-safe bowl, warm the chilli.
Step 3: Separate the buns, open, and lightly spread with mustard and mayonnaise the inside. Inside each bun, place the hot dog and place into the prepared pan, snuggling to fit. Over the hot dogs, spoon the chilli and sprinkle with about 2 tbsp shredded cheese, then the onions on top.
Step 4: Using foil, tent the pan and place it in the middle rack of the preheated oven. Bake for about 45 minutes.
Step 5: Remove from the oven and serve the Oven Chili Cheese Dogs with pickles and potato salad. Enjoy!
