If you are always looking for the best dinner idea, this easy Oven-Baked Meatballs Sandwiches recipe is one of your best options. A nice addition to your weekly favourite rotation that you can throw together in a snap! Warm and tender meatballs filled in pieces of bread with melty cheese. Tastes super good and smells delicious! The perfect easy dinner idea that is excellent if serving large groups on game day, or as an on-the-go meal.
These freaking delicious bad boys are a lifesaver! Incredibly easy and quick to make using only meatballs, pasta sauce, mozzarella cheese, and sandwich rolls. For this recipe, you can use your favourite meatball recipe or pre-made. I often resort to frozen meatballs on busy days, but I make sure to prep these using homemade meatballs on the weekend.

How to make Oven Baked Meatball Sandwiches
Step 1: Using cooking spray, grease a baking sheet. Then, prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.
Step 2: In a large pot, place the frozen cooked meatballs or homemade cooked meatballs. Pour the pasta sauce over the meatballs to cover them, then gently fold. On low-medium, heat the meatballs, stirring every so often until the meatballs are thoroughly heated.
Step 3: Place as many meatballs that can fit in a roll. I normally fill the rolls with 4 to 5 meatballs depending on the size of the meatballs and roll. Top the rolls with extra pasta sauce from the pot. On the prepared baking sheet, place the filled sandwich rolls closely to each other, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Step 4: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese has melted, hot, and bubbly.
