Jalapeño Popper Monkey Bread

by Rebecca November 4, 2020

The ingredients mixed together perfectly. This has the right amount of kick despite the jalapenos and hot sauce. Thanks to the cheeses! This is so freaking good especially with ranch dip or any dipping sauce you desire.

Ingredients

1 store-bought pizza dough (allow to rise on the counter for at least an hour)

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 c cheddar cheese, plus 1/3 cup

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

2 jalapeños, seeded and diced, plus 1 jalapeño, sliced

Splash of Cholula, or your favourite hot sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Optional: Ranch dressing

How to make Jalapeño Popper Monkey Bread

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 450 degrees.

Step 2: Generously grease, covering every side of a bundt pan.

Step 3: Place the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Slice into about 16 pieces and set aside.

Step 4: Add the cream cheese, a cup cheddar, 2 diced jalapeños, hot sauce, and a bit salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed until incorporated.

Step 5: Flatten individually the dough using your hands into a round disc.

Step 6: Add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture into the middle of the disc. Fold over to create a rough ball of dough.

Step 7: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and fresh parsley.

Step 8: Add the dough balls into the prepared pan and spoon over a bit of butter, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and topped with slices of jalapeno. And add the rest of the dough balls.

Step 9: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 10: Remove from the oven and let the monkey bread cool in the pan.

Step 11: With a butter knife, loosen the edges, put a plate on top and flip the bread over. Tap the bottom of the pan if needed.

Step 12: If desired, serve with a ranch dip on the side. Enjoy!
