1 ½-2 c. shredded Mexican cheese blend
½ c. salsa con queso
3 (8-”) flour tortillas
HOW TO MAKE EASY LAYERED TACO BAKE
Step 1: Cook the beef until brown, breaking the meat as it cooks. When done, drain the excess grease.
Step 2: According to the seasoning packet direction, add the taco seasoning and water to the beef. When done, turn the heat off, then add half a cup of the salsa con queso. Stir well until completely combined.
Step 3: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Using nonstick cooking spray, grease an 8-inch round baking pan.
Step 4: To the bottom of the prepared pan, layer the flour tortilla. Spread 1/3 of the ground beef taco filling over, then top with 1/3 of the shredded cheese. Repeat the same layers (tortilla, taco mixture, and cheese).
Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake the layered taco for approximately 15 to 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted and slightly golden brown on the edges.
Step 6: When done, remove the layered taco bake in the oven, and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice and serve. Enjoy!
