I remember when my daughter shouted “Donut is life!” in the mall. It was so funny and cute that we ended up getting a free box from the manager. I have been making her doughnuts for as far as I can remember. A friend shared this Air fryer recipe one day. I quickly became obsessed with Air Fryer and I think a lot of you can understand. With simple ingredients that you can easily find and your trusty air fryer, you’ll be enjoying warm, flaky doughnuts in just 10 minutes!

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c. granulated sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

1 (16.3-oz.) can flaky large biscuits, such as Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Biscuits

Olive oil spray or coconut oil spray

4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

How to make Easy Air Fryer Donuts

Step 1: Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet. In a shallow bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon, then set aside.

Step 2: Place the separated biscuits on the prepared baking sheet. Cut holes in the centre of each biscuit using a 1” round biscuit cutter or same-sized bottle cup.

Step 3: With olive oil or coconut oil spray, lightly grease an Air fryer. In a single layer, add 3 to4 doughnuts to the air fryer, making sure that each piece is not touching. Cover and cook the doughnut for a total of 5 to 6 minutes at 350 degrees F, flipping halfway through, until the doughnuts are golden brown. When done, place the doughnuts on the baking sheet. Do the same for the rest of the biscuits. If desired, you can cook the doughnut holes for a total of 3 minutes.

Step 4: With melted butter, brush all sides of the warm doughnuts and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Flip and coat the other side. Enjoy warm!
