You can never go wrong with bacon or Smokies wrapped in bacon, and butter. These bad boys are so good, you have to make a bunch because these are gone in a blink! If you are craving for something sweet and salty, you can always turn to these babies. The combination of both flavours gives these away. My kids are obsessed with these bacon wrapped smokies with brown sugar and butter. Their most requested almost every day, and the stars of game day!

Ingredients
1 lb bacon, cut into thirds
1 lb Lil’ Smokies (small sausages)
1 stick butter
2 c brown sugar
HOW TO MAKE BACON WRAPPED SMOKIES WITH BROWN SUGAR AND BUTTER
Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F.
Step 2: Slice into three equal parts the bacon and wrap the smokies with it.
Step 3: Place the bacon-wrapped smokies into a baking dish in a single layer.
Step 4: Heat the butter and a cup of sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the butter has fully melted.
Step 5: Drizzle the butter and sugar mixture over the bacon-wrapped smokies and sprinkle with a cup of brown sugar.
Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 7: Adjust the heat to 400 degrees and continue baking for 5 minutes more or until the bacon is greasy and crispy.
Step 8: Once done, remove from the oven and allow the dish to cool for at least 5 minutes at room temperature.
