This old-fashioned casserole is the best casserole you can ever make! I have been making this for years, and this never fails to impress everyone. I make this using screw-shaped pasta, but feel free to use your favourite pasta. If you want, you can even add vegetables to this casserole. The possibility is endless, you just have to not be afraid to spice things up a little!

Ingredients
1 tablespoon Olive Oil extra-virgin
750 g. Lean Ground Beef, (1 1/2 lbs)
500 grams Pasta, your choice (16 ounces)
1 Onion, chopped
2 teaspoons Garlic, crushed
600 g. canned Tomato Soup, condensed
1 c. Milk (250 ml/8.45 fl ounces)
600 g. canned Mushroom Soup, condensed
1/2 teaspoon Dried Parsley
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
Salt and Black Pepper, to taste
How to make Amish Country Casserole
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 180 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Using a cooking spray, grease a large oven dish.
Step 3: In a large pot, cook the pasta following the package directions.
Step 4: In the meantime, cook the onion and garlic in olive oil until soft. Then, add the ground beef and continue to cook until the meat is no longer pink.
Step 5: Drain the pasta when done and place it back in the pot.
Step 6: To the pasta, add the cooked meat, tomato and mushroom soups, and milk. Stir everything. To taste, season with salt and pepper.
Step 7: Into the prepared oven dish, pour everything and sprinkle with paprika and parsley. Place in the preheated oven and bake the casserole for about 30 minutes.
