5-Ingredient Blueberry Cheesecake Rolls

by Rebecca February 5, 2021

Prep time: 10 mins | Cook time: 12 mins | Serves: 8 Rolls

I declared my love for blueberries since I can remember! I have a few favourites, go-to, and these Blueberry Cheesecake Rolls is one of them. A five-ingredient dessert that is not only fun to make but looks and tastes divine! Blueberries and cheesecake – what not to love? Rich and sweet, both are super good on their own but combined, they make the perfect couple.

This dessert takes a bit of an effort to make but fun. Rolling the dough over the filling is like child’s play. You don’t have to make it perfect now, but over time you can. Pop this in the oven, and in no time you have yourself a delicious sweet treat that is worth bragging about.

INGREDIENTS

3 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar

1 (8 ounces) tube of crescent roll dough (8 rolls)

2/3 c. fresh blueberries

How to make 5-Ingredient Blueberry Cheesecake Rolls

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees.

Step 2: Place the cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar in a large bowl. Mix using a hand mixer or a stand mixer.

Step 3: Along the perforated seams, divide the canned crescent rolls into 8 triangles

Step 4: On a clean, flat surface, place a triangle of dough short-wide facing you and the long triangle pointing away. Across the bottom third of the triangle, add a tbsp cream cheese mixture and spread. Top with two rows of blueberries.

Step 5: Starting with the end closest to you, begin rolling the dough forward up to the tip. Do the same until you have 8 rolls.

Step 6: Onto a baking sheet, place the rolls and bake for about 10 to 13 minutes until golden brown.

Step 7: Remove from the oven and enjoy warm.
